Cauliflower with Vegetables

Ingredients

  • 1 small cauliflower
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 potato
  • 1 onion
  • 1 small cup (~100 ml) frozen peas
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 dessert spoon salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • ½ small cup (~100 ml) olive oil
  • 1 small cup (~100 ml) water

Instructions

Break the cauliflower into small florets and wash thoroughly.

Peel the potato and carrot and cut into cubes.

Peel the onion and dice it.

Soak the peas in boiling water for 5 minutes to thaw them, then drain.

Cooking

Put the oil and onion in a pressure cooker, place on the stove, and sauté for 2 minutes.

Add the tomato paste and stir.

Add the cauliflower, carrot, potato, and peas to the pot, one after another.

Add the salt, black pepper, and water, then give it one final stir.

Close the lid of the pressure cooker.

Cook over medium-high heat until the steam indicator rises, then lower the heat and cook for 5 more minutes.

Remove from the stove and open the lid once the steam has released.

Serve.

Note: If cooking in a regular pot, follow the same method. Add more water if needed. Cook over low heat for 25 minutes.
