Braised Peas (Bezelye)

Ingredients

  • 1 kg peas
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 medium potato
  • 3 medium tomatoes
  • 2 medium onions
  • 1/2 bunch dill
  • 7 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small cup (~100 ml) water
  • 2 tsp salt

Instructions

Shell the peas, wash them thoroughly in plenty of water, and drain in a colander.

Dice the onions, carrot, potato, and tomatoes.

Wash the dill and chop it coarsely.

Cooking

Add all the cleaned, chopped vegetables together with the drained peas to a pressure cooker.

Add the olive oil, salt, dill, and water, stir, and close the lid of the pot.

Cook over medium-high heat until the steam line appears, then cook over low heat for another 4 minutes once it does.

Open the lid and transfer to a serving plate.
