Green Beans with Meat (Etli Taze Fasulye)

Ingredients

  • 1 kg green beans
  • 300 g cubed meat (beef or lamb)
  • 2 medium yellow onions
  • 4 large tomatoes
  • 1 dessert spoon tomato paste
  • 1 small cup (~100 ml) olive oil
  • Salt

Instructions

Wash the green beans thoroughly in plenty of water. Trim the side strings and tips with a knife, and cut them in half.

Peel the tomatoes and onions and dice them.

Wash the meat and drain it in a colander.

Cooking

Put the meat into the pressure cooker first and sear it.

Add the onion and olive oil in turn, and sauté for 2 minutes.

Add the green beans, tomatoes, tomato paste, and salt. Stir and close the lid.

Cook over medium-high heat until the pressure valve releases steam, then cook for 5 more minutes over low heat, remove from the heat, and serve.
