Cabbage Salad (Lahana Salatası)

Ingredients

  • ½ white cabbage
  • 2 carrots
  • 5 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 dessert spoon salt
  • 1 cup (200 ml) yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • A pinch of parsley

Instructions

Wash the cabbage well with plenty of water and shred it very finely. Add the vinegar and sugar and mix thoroughly.

Wash the carrots, peel them, and grate them.

Peel the garlic and crush it well.

In a large bowl, mix the yogurt, oil, garlic, and salt thoroughly.

Wash the parsley well and chop it.

Preparation

Put the cabbage, carrots, and parsley in a large dish and toss together.

Add the yogurt mixture on top, blend everything well, and serve.
